Tourney Madness
We want to have some fun this year with the NCAA Mens Basketball Tournament. We’re announcing the first Cynical Peak Bracket Challenge. It’s time to see who has the best basketball IQ (really, it’s not luck, I knew the 16 would beat the 1). Prizes, in the form of software licenses, will be awarded to the top prognosticators. We haven’t finalized the prize structure yet, stayed tuned for it. The final structure will partially be determined by how many entries we receive. The more entries, the more we’re going to give away.
To sign up, go to Yahoo’s tournament site to create your entry. You need to join the group CynicalPeak (Group ID# 91032) with the password cyndicate. Finally fill out your bracket and have fun watching the tournament.
Yahoo’s tourney site: http://tournament.fantasysports.yahoo.com/
Group: CynicalPeak (Group ID# 91032)
Pass: cyndicate
All entries must be received before the start of the first game Thursday, March 20th. Yahoo will automatically lock them down at the start the game. Multiple entries are allowed, but prizes are limited to one per person. Your highest scoring bracket will be the only one considered when prizes are awarded. Employees of Cynical Peak Software are not eligible. I have a bracket in, but it’s only good for bragging rights and will not be considered when awarding prizes.
Scorecard 1.2.4 Released! Mac and Windows!!!
Scorecard 1.2.4 is now available for download from Cyncial Peak’s website and is now available for Windows too! This is an exciting release for us since it is the first release of the Windows version. It has complete feature parity with the Mac versions. The mac version has also been updated to fix a few minor bugs, improves Leopard compatibility, and has had the web export enhanced. This update is also available through our website or from the in app updater.

Feedback Email
Over the last couple of days we’ve received a number of “how-to” or “does it support” questions without an email address. We’d love to answer your questions, but unfortunately we can’t. This pains us since we want to provide the best customer support possible. Support is a very important part of any small business, we don’t take you guys for granted like big companies do.
Please make sure to include your email address when using the in “Submit bugs and feedback” option if you are asking a question. I know its optional, but it makes it a lot easier for us to send you an answer. =)
Our general goal is to have all support email answered within 12 hours. Most of it is answered as soon as it’s received, but we have to give ourselves a little window of time since some of you guys like to email us while we’re asleep. As of this writing the support inbox is clear except for the few without a return email. So if you’ve asked a question and haven’t received a response, please re-submit it with a return email address.
Thanks.
